I started Thundercloud Creative after finding myself stuck in a lightning storm while backpacking in the mountains of Wyoming.  Terrified, soaked to the bone, and facing the possibility of it all ending in a flash, I asked myself:

If I died today, what would I regret not doing?

Making art has always made me feel deeply connected to myself and the beauty surrounding me, and I've seen how my creations can make people cry happy tears and belly laugh.  That lightning storm made me rethink the mark I wanted to leave on the world and I knew I had to pursue my dream of being an artist. When I got laid off from my cushy 9-5 job in 2024, I took it as a message from the Universe telling me it was time to bet on myself.

Nothing about this business journey has come easily, but the biggest lesson I've learned is that I am often what's getting in my own way.  Thundercloud Creative is my attempt to prove that it's worth chasing your dreams, even when they're big and scary.
